		<description>The SD card reader isnt used in any serious sense in the project.  I'm just using it to dump files from my computer on to the SD cards.  

The SD card is connected directly to the micro. with the SD Card sockets from Molex and read using the embedded C sd/mmc and fat16 drivers that I've written.</description>
